Privacy Policy

The short version

We process your emoji reactions to display them on your device. By default, we only store reaction metadata. If you opt in to Message Previews, a truncated snippet of the reacted message is also stored, encrypted, and auto-deleted within 24 hours. Here's the full breakdown.

What we see

• Which emoji was used, which channel it came from, and who reacted (display name)
• Your Slack or Discord user ID (so we know which device is yours)
• Your IP address (just to figure out your timezone)
• Your email (only if you buy a key, handled by Stripe)

What about message content?

By default, we don't store any message content. If you enable Message Previews, we store a truncated, sanitized snippet of the reacted message so it can appear on your display. That snippet is encrypted and auto-deleted within 24 hours. You can turn this off at any time. We never access your files, DMs, or passwords.

Where does it go?

• Reaction data is deleted automatically after 24 hours
• Your login tokens are encrypted and deleted after a year of inactivity
• Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Stored on encrypted cloud servers

Who else touches your data?

• Slack / Discord - for login and delivering reactions
• Stripe - if you buy a key (they handle payment, not us)
• MaxMind - gets an anonymized version of your IP to detect your timezone

We don't sell your data

We do not sell or share your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We also don't use your data to train AI models.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Uninstall the app from Slack (deleted within 14 business days) or remove the bot from Discord (deleted promptly). Or email us and we'll delete it right away.
